On Monday, November 14th, 2016, after a long battle with Multiple Myeloma, Bill passed away at Sky Ridge Hospital in Lone Tree, CO. He was born in Fort Crowder, MO. on December 10, 1957. He served in the United States Army from 1975 – 1978. Bill was an avid year round fisherman. He loved his family, the Colorado Mountains, and had many beloved friends and fishing buddies. He was kind, thoughtful, funny, and loved by everyone.Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Mary Jane (Jaramillo) Tafoya and two brothers, Billy and Ronald Tafoya. He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his wife, Dawn, their two daughters, Stacie Wilson of Linton, IN. and Amy Tafoya of Houston, TX. He is survived by brothers, Robert Tafoya, Lander, WY. , Edward Tafoya, Pasadena, MD. and sisters, Dorothy Dexter, Melbourne, FL., Diane Valdez, Security, CO., Darleen Haines, Melbourne, FL. and Doreen Boyle, Melbourne, FL. Bill loved children and leaves behind four wonderful grandchildren, Adam, Logan, Quentin, and Alexandra. There are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews that will all miss their “Favorite Uncle”.
