Cremation only refers to the manner in which you or your loved one has chosen to deal with the physical remains. We want you to know that this decision doesn’t limit the ways you can honor your loved one's life. We heartily suggest that you have a funeral or memorial service, because your need for such a healing experience is not lessened by the decision to be cremated. Again, the options are limited only by your imagination. We hope that you will contact us to discuss the wide variety of celebratory options open to you.
Starting at $1995
If burial has been selected, usually any ceremonies we design revolve around the casket being present. You can choose to follow tradition, with a viewing, and then a funeral service in a church or memorial chapel. Or you could decide to have a more relaxed service, even in your family home.
Let’s just say this: there is no ‘hard and fast’ formula for honoring your loved one when burial has been selected.

MILE HIGH CREMATION'S MISSION
We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.
As a Private & Family owned funeral provider, Mile High Mortuary & Cremation Service offers traditional funeral & cremation services with over 30 years experience in assisting families during their time of need. Since Colorado is a non-licensed state, we pride ourselves in only having experienced and licensed personnel on staff.
Our guiding principle is caring for others. We care for the deceased, but equally important, we take care of their family, their relatives and their friends. Although we specialize in assisting families and Veterans with simple cremation services, our funeral directors and staff will ensure that all funeral arrangements are carried out to your exact specifications. We will explain clearly all that is required in arranging a funeral, with the ultimate gain of taking away as much of the burden as we possibly can.
Mile High Mortuary & Cremation Service specializes in providing care to families who want an active role in choosing funeral options. We do not assume a traditional funeral is best for all families, and understand that many expenses can be curtailed by providing more family oriented services. While most traditional funeral homes promote large public visitation periods and services, we specialize in serving families who desire the flexibility to choose the funeral that results in the most meaningful expression of a life lived.
We provide all the necessary services of a funeral home, but cater to the families that value service over selecting expensive caskets, merchandise, and facilities. As more appropriate intimate funeral services become increasingly favored by families, many are discovering that the simplest tradition remains the best choice.
We serve one family at a time and have very competitive pricing without any hidden costs for all aspects of funeral services. Call us for information and pricing without any obligation so that you can make the choice that is best for you and your family. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to answer any question that you may have.
OUR VALUED STAFF

Mr. Guesnier started Mile High Family Funeral Care realizing cost is always an item of concern and believes a funeral is not the time to go into unnecessary debt. WHEN A DEATH OCCURS
When a death occurs, the order in which things need to be done often depends on where the death occurred. But, one thing should always be remembered: your heightened emotional state upon the death of a loved one. That's why we suggest that you ask a friend for help - someone who is more able to think clearly, and give you the support you need. When a death occurs at home or in the workplace, a family member or co-worker should contact emergency personnel and the person's physician if he or she was under a doctor's care. If the death occurs at home with family or friends present, and the person is under a physician's care, the family will want to call us directly.
